OMG – I feel you! I get so frustrated (aka mad!) after spending a ridiculous amount of time wrestling my girl into pigtails just for her to pull them out IMMEDIATELY! And she’s usually looking me in the eye and smiling while she’s doing it.
Debating a summer Bob cut for my toddler. Would be so cute, but she gets compliments on her pigtails almost every day. When her pigtails fall out her hair looks so unkept.
Finally started parting my toddlers hair down the middle for pigtails with bangs. No more baby comb over. She gets compliments all the time, but I have to do this hairstyle when her hair is wet or the side part rises up again.

seriously, my daughter used to pull them right out… and my son would not keep a hat on to protect him from the sun.
